  • Store Front Window Cleaning Perks

    Posted on February 23rd, 2012 mike1174 No comments

    Store front is fast pace, always on the move. You also have a very flexible schedule for completing your end of the deal. It is not uncommon to be a day late; although not recommended, just as long as you come once a week or once a month, whatever your agreement is with your client.

    After having started my San Diego Window Cleaning business I have learned the hard way that unlike residential, your customer will pay you once a month and you will need to send in an invoice. However if you are lucky to land some restaurants they will usually give you free food. Store front is also nice in that you almost never need a ladder, but work mostly with a pole. This will make your job easier, and to make it even better, most of your cleanings will be outside only, with an occasional inside.

    When you clean store fronts there are a few challenges however, for instance you will almost always need to bring your own water, which can add up if you have a full schedule everyday. At this point you will probably want to get a 50 gallon tank. Also you have to be careful of pedestrians and customers, not to get in their way or cause them to get hurt. When you go to clean the inside you will need to be very careful around signs and merchandise. You don’t want to lose customers by messing up their stuff.

    If you don’t have a lot of money to start out with, store front window cleaning mixed with single story homes and commercial buildings will be the best way to go. Once you have made some money try and reinvest as much as possible into equipment that you need for cleaning two and three story homes and commercial buildings. Then you will have the ability to accept all sorts of jobs and direct your business in the area that most appeals to you.

  • How to choose the Best Affiliate Programs

    Posted on November 11th, 2011 mike1174 No comments
    Perhaps the very best route to earn money online (and sometimes offline) is to get involved in Affiliate Marketing.
    Affiliate marketing helps you learn the cogs and wheels of selling without your having to create the product yourself.
    Another advantage of using affiliate marketing to make money is that you can do it in your free time.
    Many brand-new Internet Marketers work with affiliate marketing as a technique for earning extra money so that they can make the leap and start real businesses of their own.
    Obviously, however, if you don’t choose a good program, affiliate marketing is going to be a disaster.
    So, how will you ensure that you aren’t deciding on a program that will only take your money and run?
    There are going to be a number of people who think that you should spend money if you want to make money and while sometimes this is true for a “regular” offline business that needs supplies and promotional items but, online, this is typically a sign of a scam.
    Do not trust any online business that wants you to pay membership dues.
    Typically these are the companies that acquire lots of membership dues from you but then they don’t give you even a small bit of help with building your business and, usually don’t even pay you the commissions that you have earned.
    Read every assessment you can find about the different types of affiliate marketing programs that you may want to work with.
    Ask for people’s thoughts and opinions on the different companies in forums, read reviews along with blogs posts that talk about the programs you want to take part in and be very wary of any overly effusive reviews because sometimes these are just signs that someone wants to make money off of you.
    Get as many opinions as you can.
    Look for merchandise that you would certainly buy yourself or that you feel excited about.
    These are usually the very best products to sell because the job will seem simple.
    When you enjoy the product yourself that translates into the work that you do and folks will be more likely to buy from you. You could even be able to sell those products offline as well.
    Select a product that doesn’t rely on the net for its success.
    Some of the finest affiliate marketing companies out there are Tupperware and Avonnot because of any internet connection but because they are practical off of the internet as well. It is a lot simpler to make money when you have a really wide audience.
    Choose a company which has a reputation for paying out commissions on time and in full.
    These are generally businesses that have a long standing and good reputation.
    After all, if you are planning to be doing a large amount of work, you actually need to get paid for it. Any organization that is worth your time will pay you for your work.
    There are all sorts of elements that go into deciding of whose merchandise you should sell.
    A tiny bit of analysis will help you narrow down the arena considerably.

  • Profit Growth With The Aid of Usability Concepts

    Posted on April 6th, 2011 mike1174 No comments

    amp;lt;div id=amp;quot;_mcePasteamp;quot;amp;gt;The term, website usability, has been around for quite a few years, and yet it is something that seems to be hardly discussed in the more heavily trafficked marketing forums. We find that just incredible because it really is talking about optimization of all elements of a commercial site. If your site is not very amp;quot;usable,amp;quot; then basically people will not want to use it – which means stay there, or come back – meaning not very sticky. Of course it is obvious that your site needs to be user friendly and encourages people to return. You will need to have a clear picture of what your site visitors are doing once they land on your website.amp;lt;/divamp;gt;
    amp;lt;pamp;gt;amp;amp;nbsp;amp;lt;/pamp;gt;
    amp;lt;div id=amp;quot;_mcePasteamp;quot;amp;gt;There is basically one method to monitoring our visitors, and that is through a good tracking program. The basic approach is to discover where your site is under-performing; once done, you examine the location and begin making adjustments. When you think about it, that approach is not so sophisticated, but it does work well if you do it. You are able to find free and paid for scripts as well as feature rich and very basic ones. They basically do the same things, and then it boils down to features and benefits. You will need to know the how, where and when of traffic flow as well as time spent on each page. A robust tracking script will enable you to observe your visitors and look for trails and signs they were on your site.amp;lt;/divamp;gt;
    amp;lt;pamp;gt;amp;amp;nbsp;amp;lt;/pamp;gt;
    amp;lt;div id=amp;quot;_mcePasteamp;quot;amp;gt;What we are talking about here is executing site wide optimization. All businesses on the web need the highest conversion rates no matter what is truly being converted. In order to see what works, you will employ specific kinds of tests. There are superior testing processes, but the most common is A/B split testing on your pages. Multivariate testing is much more powerful and diverse than split testing. You may take the somewhat blind approach and choose arbitrary aspects of your pages to run a test. But like we pointed out earlier, you use the tracking software metrics to identify possible trouble pages, and then you just start testing that page. The sensible approach to optimization and testing is to find out where your site is weak so you can fix it.amp;lt;/divamp;gt;
    amp;lt;pamp;gt;amp;amp;nbsp;amp;lt;/pamp;gt;
    amp;lt;div id=amp;quot;_mcePasteamp;quot;amp;gt;When you work to boost usability and performance, you should realize that it is a time-consuming process. Once you start seeing positive results, you will likely be happy with yourself for having accomplished it. When your site is fully optimized, your desired conversions will be the best they can be. That merely spells more profits and long term business for you.amp;lt;/divamp;gt;
    amp;lt;pamp;gt;
    amp;lt;divamp;gt;Are you searching for aamp;amp;nbsp;amp;lt;a href=amp;quot;http://socialmediasocialmarketing.com/amp;quot; target=amp;quot;_blankamp;quot;amp;gt;social media marketing planamp;lt;/aamp;gt;? Check out my site, where I evaluate them.amp;lt;/divamp;gt;
